Stormline — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Stormline is an AI phone-answering and call-alert service operated by Tempest House LLC(“Tempest House,” “we,” “us,” “our”) for business customers. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide when you sign up, such as your name, business name, business and mobile phone numbers, and email address.
  • Call information we process on your behalf, including caller phone numbers and names, the reason for the call, the property address, and call recordings and transcripts, so we can notify you and keep your records.
  • Technical and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the service — answering and triaging your calls, sending you call alerts by SMS and email, delivering recordings and transcripts, billing, customer support, and protecting the service and our users.

Text messaging

If you opt in, we send SMS call alerts about calls received on your business line. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. See our SMS / Messaging Terms for details.

Automated call handling and recording

Calls to your business line are answered and triaged by an automated (AI) system. An AI-and-recording disclosure is played at the start of each call. Where required by applicable all-party-consent law, the caller is asked to confirm consent to recording. If a caller declines, the recording and transcript for that call are deleted.

Service providers and sub-processors

We use third-party service providers to operate the service — including telephony, voice-AI, messaging, hosting, and billing providers — who process information on our behalf, only as needed to deliver the service, and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Sending your call data to your own systems

If you choose to configure a CRM webhook, we will send a record of each call — including the caller’s name, callback number, property address, the reason for the call, the urgency of the call, a link to the recording, and any insurance details captured — to the internet address you specify. That address is under your control, not ours. You are responsible for the security of that endpoint and for how the receiving system uses the information. You can remove the webhook at any time in your settings.

Google Calendar (optional appointment-booking feature)

If you connect your Google account so the AI can book appointments for you, you authorize this through Google’s standard OAuth consent screen. Specifically:

  • What we access. With your permission, we access your Google Calendar to (1) read your free/busy availability and (2) create and manage calendar events. We request only these Google Calendar permissions — we do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive, or any other Google data.
  • How we use it. We use this access solely to check your availability and schedule appointments that callers book through your AI answering line, on your own calendar. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or standalone AI/ML models.
  • How we store and share it. To keep the connection working, we securely store your Google authorization (an OAuth refresh token, held as an encrypted secret) and the email address of the connected Google account. We share this data only with the sub-processors needed to operate the booking feature, and where required by law — never for marketing, and never with parties unrelated to running the service.
  • Retention and deletion. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your portal Settings— this immediately revokes Stormline’s access at Google and deletes the stored authorization token and connected-account email — or you can revoke Stormline’s access yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When your account is closed, your stored Google authorization is deleted as part of account deletion, within the retention window described above. Calendar events already created on your own calendar remain yours to manage in Google.
  • Limited Use.Stormline’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

No sharing of mobile information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS consent/opt-in data) is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with the service providers described above, with a CRM endpoint you have configured, and where required by law.

Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.

Recordings where a caller declines consent are deleted, along with the transcript for that call.

After your account is closed: for thirty (30) days you may request a copy of your call recordings, transcripts, and captured caller details by emailing privacy@stormline.us. After that window, we delete or de-identify that information within ninety (90) days, except where we are required to retain it by law and for copies in routine, secured backups, which are overwritten on our standard backup cycle.

Your choices

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. To request access to or deletion of your information, contact us.

Your privacy rights (California / U.S. state laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to know how it is used. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@stormline.us or write to us at the mailing address below.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
